Sativa Battle Off. Which do you think is the better pick? MTL vs Houseplant

Sativa Battle Off. Which do you think is the better pick? MTL vs Houseplant

Doublehappyness

Mtl sage and sour has been a lot more consistent. Fyi ness lemon berry is also very good and floating around at 25 percent rn

Monke420-_-

Damn, 25!

Acrobatic_Catch_1100

Lemon Berry is SO solid. Ness hasn’t disappointed me yet 😍

modermanehh

MTL by a longggggggggggggg shot. There is a reason why it's one of the highest-selling eights in Ontario. But hey if you love Seth Rogen houseplant it is.

Monke420-_-

Haha, I wanna get both but I don’t got that kind of funds rn plus I just picked up an O for $99. I’m really curious on MTL, I’ve only tried houseplant’s Indica.

modermanehh

It's a fun journey to try new things and it's a scary prospect on your wallet. My cheap Sativa is spinach diesel or Jack Haze but I know that's still not value bud but in the mid-range.

Monke420-_-

Yea I feel yea. This past year I’ve been exploring with a lot of different strains. Recently I’ve been picking up a bunch of 3.5g for about $20-25 so I gotta chill for a bit. Houseplant at $36 is tempting, I’m just wondering if they’re trying to sell the end of the batch :/

Truthbedownvoted

Trust me when I say 100% MTL Sage n Sour will be the better choice. I would honestly pick Doja C99 before Houseplant because its another solid Sativa that smells like cheese.

Monke420-_-

Just bought it

Truthbedownvoted

Hope you enjoy! Happy tokes 🔥💨

grandfatherfish

doja c99 is nice, potency pleasantly surprised me

modermanehh

90% of time when I purchase products on OCS via price drop I'm disappointed as there's a reason why there's a price drop. And they tend to be old products not selling. I bet you this house plant is going to be from 2020. What about the shred Tropic Thunder?

Monke420-_-

There’s only pre rolls on ocs

modermanehh

They add them daily check out the alert page.

Monke420-_-

Okay cool, and quick question I’m new. What’s shred? Is it just like pre grinned flower? I’m a little confused.

modermanehh

Do you know which alert page I'm talking about? Edison mills three of their Sativa strains together based on lemony flavour and it's good quality as it burns very white and it's terpy and you get about seven grams for 28 bucks.

Monke420-_-

I do not. Is it on ocs?

hewrites

Shred is the brand name. The name has nothing to do with whether their product is pre milled flower or regular buds

Monke420-_-

Ah okay thank you

goldenkitten048

MTL 100%. I've tried Houseplant so many times, it's overpriced to me for the quality. I mostly smoke Sativa and I stick with MTL and Ness primarily because that's what my B&M has.

rgros456

Did i get a bad batch of the sage and sour? The high was fine i just thought it tasted like dryer sheets or something

Monke420-_-

As one user suggested, you have functioning cannabinoid receptors if you didn’t think MTL is kickass 😭😭😭

sasquatch_jr

Not quite what I said. Terpinolene is a very unique terpine. But if you can't tell that MTL is legit cannabis while Houseplant costs the same but is the cannabis equivalent of generic boxed wine there is clearly something wrong. MTL is objectively higher quality.

Monke420-_-

🤪🤪

terp-enthusiast

Mtl by a mile. Houseplant is garbage. It's just expensive because its seth Rogen's weed

Monke420-_-

I tried 3.5g of indica, it was really fresh. Great overall high but $42 for 3.5g is a joke.

Johnny_Chronic18

Lol not even a question. MTL

Monke420-_-

That’s what I’m thinking, hitting a whole of that 👽

sasquatch_jr

Your question is like asking which is better, this fine wine produced with love in small batches or this shitty boxed wine that doesn’t even have a strain name on the label. Anyone suggesting houseplant over mtl is either an investor in canopy (company that grows houseplant) or they they don’t have functioning cannabinoid receptors.

TheRusmeister

Much better off with MTL, hell even Spinach Diesel and Msiku Apex are better sativas in the same price range.

gaagaagise

Fuck Houseplant, fuck American celebrities exploiting the Canadian industry, fuck celebrities in general, and fuck the very concept of suggesting any sativa competes with Sage N Sour at the same price point

DoktheButcher

I vote for MTL its an all around good weed, good container, beautiful buds, wonderful smell, the taste in a J is superb (I just smoke Js) the high is nice and smooth, I don’t get a burnout from it. House plant is middle of the road ganja not bad weed but nothing to write home about, there’s no ummph to it if that’s a descriptive word lol. You won’t be disappointed with the Sage n Sour

whiskey_shelf

Mtl every time! That houseplant sativa tastes like floor cleaner

AstrumRimor

The only good thing about Houseplant is the cute jar. What’s inside is 💩 tho

Monke420-_-

I agree, I loved the cute jar.

Acrobatic_Catch_1100

MTL 110%

Lucilol

Houseplant.

antoine_qr

Houseplant big time

Truthbedownvoted

MTL Sage n Sour wins big time 😅

Monke420-_-

And it’s on sale😭

tootired4disshit

Sage and sour is an amazing quality bud. House plant is some overrated brand owned by a celebrity. Go with MTL.

Monke420-_-

Just bought it

Monke420-_-

A bowl of MTL 👽

DutyPaidvsGreyMarket

MTL all day over houseplant.

Substantial_Eye3843

Sage. Higher thc potential at lower cost

simpinforsirvelos

This is no comparison. MTL all day. Houseplant is dookie.

DaDopemancometh

Sage n Sour vs Lilac Diesel would be a better battle

illferrell

never tried houseplant, but i dont even like most 'sativas' and sage n sour has been a repeat purchase for me.

xspencer1515

Ya mtl. It's not even a comparison. Houseplant doesn't hold a candle. Apex from msiku is another one that smashes the house plant

Tattooed_canna_queen

Is this a real question? Houseplant is like shopping at dollarama

F82omg

Had both many times, vaped only. Prefer Houseplant way more, has a strong flavour density and pulls forever in the volcano.

Monke420-_-

Just bought it😭

S0F7

For me personally, MTL is always bomb. Ive tried both the houseplant indica and sativa and i am not a fan of the "wet tent" taste.
