Inteset IReTV USB IR Receiver for use with Nvidia Shield (2nd Gen & 2019 Pro), F-TV, Kodi, PCs, Raspberry Pi & Other Streamers with The Inteset INT422 & Harmony Remotes (Remote not Included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MRD2P4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_31J5FVDAHRV5BHC9GSJH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Works great for me!
+1 to this it works!
ohhhh, this device looks like exactly what I need for my Harmony. In my harmony, how do I "add" the shield then?
The [FLIRC USB receiver](https://www.amazon.ca/FLIRC-Generation-Universal-Control-Receiver/dp/B01NBRBWS6/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=flirc+usb&qid=1620780256&sr=8-1) is [officially supported](https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4603/~/ir-codes-for-shield-tv).
You need something like a FLIRC plugged into one of the usb ports
No, but you could probably pair the universal IR remote to your TV and use it for the Shield if CEC settings are enabled.
Nope only the oldest shield does ir
I go the other way and have the shield remote control the tv and avr through ir and cec
Won't work for me. It's a pretty extensive system with lighting controls, projection, etc. But it appears there is a simple IR receiver that can plug in to the Shield and do it.
I use a FLIRC with my 2019 Shield Pro and Harmony 650 (or 700, don't recall which one is in the basement).
+1 for Flirc. Using one with 2019 Shield Pro + Logitech Harmony 650
I had to stop using FLIRC... the FaceID on my iPhone (whatever laser like beams it shoots out) was conflicting with it. So I ended up with a Harmony Hub with Bluetooth and it's working perfectly.
