do wild chests in the world scale with my adventure rank? or i just open them all?
They don't, you can open them whener you want
Can someone help me fix a bug. I just got the serenitea pot and selected the floating abode as my location then the menu closes and when I try to enter the serenitea pot it says
'Please complete the following quest to enter the serenitea pot:Trial in tianqiu'
But the quest say's enter the teapot. What should I do?
The Trial in Tianqiu is a separate quest, you have to complete that one first
Oh ok thanks
I need to level up my characters but, it's hard to get character xp, how can i get it faster.
Where can I buy this teapot recipe Newly Grown Grapevines? I am trust rank 10. Honeyhunterworld db says it can be bought from the realm depot but it's not there. I already cleared all the blueprints being sold there. Or am i missing something?
Is it like a plant? Cause u won't have it's recipe/blueprint. Check the section where u buy the speed vials. In that section u will find bunch of rock/trees/bushes which might contain the thing u need.
It's not there. It is like the lush grape vine that has blueprint. The website specifically says blueprint and crafting it requires x8 fir wood. It is one of the items required for the character-specific sets. I am trying to craft the mats needed for those sets when 1.6 comes since I got nothing to craft anymore.
I guess the new blueprint will be released in 1.6 then.
Favonius lance and dragons bane, which characters would these be good on?
Favonius is one of the best polearms for any char who you use as support. I'm not really fan of Dragon bane, but it could good on Hu Tao and XL.
Favonius lance is good for zhongli
Dragon bane for hutao, xiangling
Is it true that 1.6 maintenance will take 8 hours? I saw few posts about this
Maintenance always takes about 5 hours. If you heard that random rumor about it lasting 8 hours or something, it's not true. No proof, no official statement.
All past maintenance patches have been 5 hours, and Mihoyo has not finished late yet, only early.
Imagine if they take 8 hours I wouldn't mind that ..*[FREEMOGEMS]*
does sucrose's elemental burst generate particles? If so, how much ER is needed to make her elemental burst infinite?
Elemental **bursts do not generate particles**, **elemental skills do** (with the exception of Fischl, who's summoned Oz after her transformation will act like her elemental skill Oz).
Generally people aim for 180% ER for optimal burst uptime if there are no other anemo characters on the same team, although if you have her C1 or C4 it can be lower. If there's another anemo character on the same team like Jean, Venti, or Xiao, you can run her around 140% ER.
If I want xinqui’s burst to deal more damage, how should I build him? Currently using 2pc NO 2 pc WT. Also, how much damage per sword should I aim for assuming I have his burst talent at max.
EM only matters for the person who is proccing the elemental reaction. 2pc NO and 2pc heart of depth is the usual for xingqiu
If EM only matters for person doing reaction, then wouldn't 2pc HOD effect work the same way?
So if I'm using XQ with hutao, hutao doesn't benefit from +15% hydro dmg bonus
Sword damage is calculated from xingqiu stats not whoever is doing normal attacks. The attacks is just the trigger to activate the swords. Bonuses do not work for off field characters unless otherwise stated like 4pc noblesse. Things like 2pc bolide won't increase shield strength if you switch out
All the "challenges/puzzles" in this area seem incomplete for me, have I forgot something somewhere or is it normal? here are the screenshots: [https://imgur.com/a/iFGB0hL](https://imgur.com/a/iFGB0hL) Thanks for the help :D
Its part of a quest
Search "Chi of Guyun"
I already finished the quests since a long time ago. But it looks like there is still something to do, or is it like that for everyone even after completing the quest?
No it jsut stays up
At what talent level do you get diminishing returns (?) or like more mats for lesser dmg increase.
Cuz I'm going to hit AR 45 soon, and well pyro slimes.
I dont want my zhongli to hit like 3 dmg cuz I dont want to be a parasite in coop.
so what's an appropriate AA level? Deathmatch is weapon
Any talent you use should be at least 6.
Other than that I typically stop when the next level requires two of the weekly boss drop and at that point look at upgrading talents of other characters.
level aa to 6 since it doesn't take boss mats. after that isn't worth it if you're not using him as physical dps
Maintenance always lasts a few hours.
My level 70 eula with level 8 burst deals like 220k in open world and 360k in spiral abyss with serpent spine R2 is that the max i can do with 4 star weapon and C0?
There's no point in calculating your max potential since artifact rng plays a huge role in your overall dmg. You'll always be able to do more if you get better roles.
Is Chongyun or Kaeya better at breaking electro shields in the Abyss?
Both are ok
Probably Chong with a fast Attacker to infuse with Cryo.
Yo, I still kinda don't understand a lot of thing in the game so...i spent ACCIDENTALLY around 30 fragile resin for my resin and now i have 1500...? i feel like i fucked up a lot, is it bad?
Use it on world bosses over the next couple of days. See my more detailed reply.
What's your AR, that'll tell you how bad it is,
If AR45+ not so bad,
If AR40+ quite bad,
If below AR40, you done fucked up
In any case get to farming
damn I'm ar. 35
I have done similar but fortunately wasted less than 7. Not the end of the world. Use it quickly on farming bosses like regisvines, oceanid, and hypostasis.
Focus on the ones you know you will need (pyro regisvine comes to mind). Try to spend less than 500 on the domains and laylines as the returns at AR35 are not as good as AR45+
Rip. Grab some friends and get to farming. At this point, bosses are probably your best option
yeah, if you weren't able to spend those amount in a short period of time, you'll be missing out a lot of opportunities where original resins could have been replenished.
Yea, is very bad. Fragile resin is very important in late game to farm artifacts quicker. I guess now you’ll get much more xp and get to AR45 faster. Also be sure to spend it all asap, if not your regular resin won’t refill
yeah, you won't be able to replenish any resin until you get back below 160 resin. all you can do is make 5 condensed resin and try to spend it all. leylines are probably quickest or bosses and talent/artifact domains, depends on your ar and what you need for your characters
It's sort of bad, because you have to use them all up to let them refill again. You usually save those fragile resin for AR 45+ for artifact farming.
Pretty bad yeah. Your resin won't regenerate until you empty that out so get to work
I'm a fairly new player and recently got Eula (my FIRST big 5* DPS) and I'm really, really enjoying her. Last night I was lucky enough to grab a wolf's gravestone (even though I'm really happy with serpent spine)
I'm not interested in the next two banners and I'm not even sure the inazuma banners will interest me too much (waiting for Ganyu to roll back around). I'm sitting on about 13k primos and I'd really love to have her C2. Is it worth it?
You say you are new player, yet you already have 2 5* items (weapon and character) and serpent spine as well?
If you really are new, try not to drown in monetization
Well, relatively new I suppose. I think I started playing during the venti re run? I did spend some money at the start and then got lucky with a £150 Google play voucher recently
Thanks for the advice everyone. I guess I'm not relishing the idea of holding on to my primos for so long that I want a reason to spend them haha
C2 is mostly a QoL buff with a marginal damage increase, mostly for 4pc pale flame users. C1 will be way more noticeable. If you're a low spender or f2p, at most go for C1
Thanks for the advice. My thinking with C2 is that it'll let me use the hold more often which is good damage and let's me cycle elemental orbs quicker, whilst keeping cryo uptime on enemies to get the extra 15%crit
C2 will let you generate more energy overall, and increase your non-ult rotation dps by a moderate amount. It also helps you keep up her built in resistance shred and C1 bonus physical damage. Generally people say it's not worth, but from personal experience (I have her C2) it makes her gameplay significantly smoother.
Cryo uptime usually isn't too big of a deal since you'll be running a cryo battery in the team too, but I suppose C2 does help with that if by a small amount.
No, it's much better to save for new characters when Inazuma comes out.
For f2p, new characters > new weapons > constellations > refinements
No, C2 by itself is absolutely not worth it unless you are sure of being able to go further and get C3 or C6.
imo new characters > constellations
but if you really, LIKE REALLY love eula to the bottom of your bones, go c2
Is it worth building a 4 piece vv on Jean when i run her as a healer for my Xiao. I currently have 2 piece vv with 2 piece glad and have her with the flute and er sands.
4VV is not bad, but I prefer 2GL/2VV, 2NO/2VV or 4NO.
In my case, I usually run Xiao, Zhongli, Albedo and Jean, So, I put 4NO on Jean in order to get the atk% buff.
Im using her with the exact same setup. Its not worth grinding for a proper 4p imo unless you absolutely have nothing else to spend resin on
What set is proper then?
With Xiao specifically, 2p vv 2p glad is better imo
does xiangling's burst benefit from her c6?
seeing as bennett's burst damage benefits from its own atk buff and c6 pyro dmg buff, and how the atk buff of 4pc NO also applies to the burst that triggers its effect, i was wondering if xiangling's c6 burst works the same way. please only answer if you're certain/have tested this
Smh if only people could disable cons to properly test this
No, Xianling's burst snapshots from the moment you cast it so you're not going to get the benefit of c6.
does the 2 rooms upstairs on our teapot house ever get unlocked at trust 10?
They'll get unlocked in 1.6
Only from next update
They said it'll be unlocked in the 1.6 update.
I have Fischl with Prototype Crescent, Rosaria with Favonius Lance, Yanfei with Widsith, Mona with Mappa Mare, and I plan to give Kazuha an Iron Sting. All of them are supports except Yanfei.
If I do not have any other better 4 star weapons, can I improve by getting a Blackcliff weapon for any of them? And for who? I already have, at the minimum, 50/100 crit rate/damage on everyone
Widsith is bis 4* for Yanfei. Your supports want er weapons so blackcliff wouldnt be that good on them. Just replace them when you get better gacha 4*.
Whats considered a good crit damage to have, and what should i have my crit rate on minimum?
ratio is generally 1:2 until you hit an appropriate amount of CR (around 60%+). Then just max CDmg.
Cryo teams' CR requirements are lower for...reasons.
why break 1:2 after a certain point? for better screenshots?
As an easy example, say you have 100% CR and 200% CDmg. The recommended 1:2 ratio.
You find an artifact upgrade that will increase CR!
...What is the benefit to critting 110% of the time?
Beyond artifacts there are a LOT of "situational" or "temporary" increases to CR (while there are relatively few ways increases to CDmg). Cryo team resonance. Skill boosts (both active and passive). Constellations.
If a temporary boost (or team boost) pushes your CR over 100% at any time during combat, it's effectively a wasted skill - so you can avoid this by lowering your CR below the "recommended" ratio.
but you said 60
Currently the majority of end-game content prioritizes speed clears and only cares about the best run after several attempts.
You're better off running possible Crit, but higher damage, than running guaranteed Crit, with lower damage. If you don't Crit, you reset the fight.
Depends on character. Keqing can't crit reset but hutao can
You should aim for 1:2 and after 70ish cr go heavy on cd. 70/140 is when Id consider a dps decently built but you can always aim for more
Depends. Freeze Ganyu? ~20% CR, 200+ CD.
Most charcters? You want a balance of ~ 1:2 CR:CD.
So 60CR:120CD, 70 CR:140 CD, etc.
With that said, it's RNG - almost none of my characters are exactly 1:2. You make do with what you get.
Should I level my Diluc’s basic atk elemental skill or burst first?
Upgrade from 7 to 8
is there an electro buff coming soon? are there any details on it so far
Just an increase in damage relating to elemental mastery which does absolutely nothing, like yes we have more damage, but the reactions still won’t crit and they only scale of EM and Level, and overload still knocks enemies away which is useless
yo wtheck raiden is probably gonna be underwhelming because of this
Yeah I hope that they aren’t the final changes, they need a lot more if they want to sell her, although they could just make her insanely strong instead like Fischl
Yes there is, but I wouldn't go as far as saying "buff". They're adding some damage to "main" reactions which are all electro based for some reason.
There is, and no. All they have said is they will be improved next patch.
Just crossed ar36. I've got a lv69 Razor, Diona, Barbara and Xiangling all lv60, lv50 Kaeya and Bennett, Xingqiu, Xinyan, Rosaria all lv20. I was wondering, do quests at this stage scale off the world level, or off our party level? Is it alright if I stop focussing on levelling up my first team and instead level up Xingqiu, Bennett, Rosaria and Kaeya for abyss?
If your advice is to continue focussing on Razor and co. for now, at what point should I start developing the second team?
It scales off of your wl. Focus on maxing out razor for now and getting everyone to 60/70 for that second passive. After that you can start focusing on your 2nd main dps.
Quests always scale off your world level and never your party level. I would get your main party to at least level 70 before focusing on a different team.
What’s a good amount of ER for Venti?
Around 170/180 is fine. Considering he has it as ascension stat, you just need a couple of ER substat and you're good
Cool, thank you
Can someone give me pointers/advice/guide to how to beat spiral abyss floor 12?
I can seven star floor 11 (8 if I'm lucky, it's cause of the water abyss heralds) but I can't last for even 30 seconds on floor 12. I am AR55 and I feel kinda bad that I haven't been able to clear floor 12 even once, I'm honestly so desparate and I've tried so much but whatever I do I cannot beat the geovishaps.
(If anyone can link me to a yt tutorial, I'd be willing to follow that too, but I couldn't find very helpful ones.)
Built characters: Xiao and Razor (main dps), Bennet, Diona, Qiqi, Barbara (support)
Semi built: Venti, Fischl, Childe, Xingqui (edit: by semi built I mean to say they're levelled up with good weapons, they just don't have a good CR/CD ratio because of artifact badluck)
I have all four stars except Xinyan, and have Mona who is unbuilt. Any sort of advice would be very valuable! I've legit lost hope till now :(
Im suprised you managed f11 tbh. You need 2 fully built teams and you only have 2 dps and 4 healers. Ditch Qiqi and Barbs and focus on building your supports properly
razor is bad against the geovishaps (high physical resistance). if i were you, id focus on childe as 2nd team dps.
xiao diona venti bennett.
childe fischl beidou barbara/qiqi (xingqiu is fine too if you can manage without a healer)
I see, thank you! I've been trying to build up this comp, I'd have to start from scratch since beidou is level 20. I have one question though, what should I do when childe is on cooldown? Do his aa/charged attack or use a subdps?
I'd focus on building your sub-DPSs over replacing Razor. I run a Razor, Fischl, Diona, flex team in Abyss and can easily 3 star 12-1. It's not as ideal as running a melt/vape team, but still perfectly functional.
Plus, Childe requires an incredibly invested team. Since you don't have built sub-DPSs that would take ages to do.
>Semi built: Venti, Fischl, Childe, Xingqui
Build these units first. You don't even have a 'fully built' sub DPS for your DPS characters which I assume is Xiao/Razor. And the fact that four out of the six fully built characters you have are just utility healers.
I see, thank you for your reply! Could you tell me about sub dps? I'm not able to understand their roles exactly. Both Xiao and Razor are selfish dps's so I'm not sure exactly who and how to fit a subdps
Basically, sub dps are people who also do damage but off field to support the Main DPS (like Xingqiu, Fischl) think of it as a turret. You just swap them in, use their skill or burst and swap again to your DPS to do the work. Some sub dps characters have extremely powerful bursts like Mona, Venti or a burst Zhongli while providing both utility and damage at the same time (setting up reactions, resonance, CC etc).
Xiao and Razor are energy hungry so they need a battery. A battery is someone who generates elemental particles for your DPS to keep their burst up. Venti can battery Xiao by using his E, and Fischl can battery Razor with her bird.
I see, thank you so much for your help! I had been using xiao and sucrose in one team and venti in the other with razor but you're right, floor 12 doesn't have much cc anyway so I'll swap in succ for Venti.
Thank you for your detailed explanation, I'll implement these changes and hopefully I'll see come success! :)
Just make the CN National team as secondary team. It's pretty much guaranteed to 36 stars as long as you follow standard rotation, standard build.
You dont even have two teams fully built. You should just keep leveling everything and maybe try next rotation.
If I want to grind for exp books, is ley lines the best option?
There's no other way to gring them unless you're very low on exploration and want to grind chests
I don't actually see any other option. So yes
Who is a better dps Beidou, Xiangling, Xingqiu, or Ninnguang?
I might be a bit biased but Ning imo. The only team she needs is geo resonance and other than that you dont need to invest in supports. XL is good in certain team comps but that requires more resources
ningguang is the best for a traditional on field auto attacking dps, however the other three all have very powerful bursts that can potentially carry a team in terms of damage output from off field
Xingqiu isnt a dps. Ninguang with geo resonance and Xiangling in National Team are both very good. Beidou is more of a sub dps
That's a loaded question.
Beidou, Xiangling and Xingqiu are all usually considered sub-DPS. They don't stay on the field long - just long enough to use their abilities and swap out. But their abilities can do ALOT of damage.
Beidou's Burst (especially with C2), Xiangling's burst (especially if you can Vape/Melt them), and Xingqiu's Burst (especially paired with a Pyro character) can do insane damage.
Ningguang is more of a main/carry dps - she needs to be on the field herself to do damage, but with the right team setup/gear/cons she can do very good damage too.
Do the same spiral abyss buffs stack? I went into chamber 1 and got an increase in normal and charged atk and then I got the same thing buff choice in chamber 3. If I choose it, does it stack? There’s also a possibility that I misread the buff but still.
On the bottom of the card you pick it says if it lasts for the whole floor or just the chamber
It both says the whole floor
why is physical keqing popular? i thought elemental > physical? no hate for physical tho just curious
It’s cause electro is just garbage
Spiral Abyss has 75% increased phys damage on some floors right now, and the current Abyss buff favors Phys.
(Eula is the newest character and she is a phys character)
Because electro isn't in a good place and you can proc supercondact super easily with her. She's also really really good with the new 4p set since she can keep it up all the time
hadn’t thought about that hmm
Elemental is better than physical 100% but that element is electro. Electro is really bad and the reactions of electro are pretty bad so people go with physical. But electro Keqing is so much more fun to play imo instead of just holding left click.
need help in building a physical keqing!! specifically on what talents i should level up and what artifacts i need to use i use lion roars on her since i dont have any 5 star swords but let me know if theres another sword i should try pulling for her
edit: i only have prototype rancour, favonius sword and lions roar
AA to max.
Any combination of 2pc gladiator, 2pc bloodstained, 2pc pale flame. Choose the one that gives you best substats.
You can max AA and leave E and Q at 6. Use rancour instead of LR. For artifacts go 4 set PF or 2/2 bloodstained and PF, whichever has the better substats.
Use rancour, focus on leveling your basic atk and for artifacts you can go 4p ts, 2p glad 2p bc, 4p pf (her best set), 2p glad 2p pf or 2p pf 2p bc
How do I build Bennett for atk buff & healing?
Edit: Thanks everyone.
Bennett atk buff scales off of his base ATK. This is the combined ATK value from leveling him up and improving his weapon. For this reason people often try to give him the highest base ATK sword they have. Artifact ATK will not improve his ult ATK buff.
In terms of improving his heal, it scales off his max HP. However for most people they don't need to actively build a lot of HP on him since his ult already heals very quickly. Most people do 4pc Noblesse on him, then build him as a sub dps with a focus on at least 180% ER, then crit rate (or HP% if you really really need him to heal big numbers).
Typically people go ATK or ER sands, pyro damage goblet, and crit rate or damage circlet. This will help his ult deal a decent amount of damage on the initial hit, but it really isn't required to do this.
Then should I give him the prototype? That's the only sword that I have with high base atk I can get 180%+er through artifacts
Yes, if you have no physical damage sword users that need it. If you do, better to give your Bennett an ER sword like Festering Desire, Sacrificial, or Favonius.
Full noblesse, HP goblet, HP sands, Healing bonus/HP circlet. Also 200%+ ER for high uptime.
For weapons, if you have good ER, go for Aquila for higher atk buff. If not, any ER swords will do.
4pc noblesse, HP/HP/Healing bonus or HP. You want around 200 ER and a weapon like festering desire or skyward sword.
aqila fanvonia, er sands/hp goblet/healing bonus or hp circlet
I don't have aqila
Go for the sword with highest base atk or one with ER for better uptime.
then go for festering or any ER swords.
Does anyone remember that one image of a coop game chat where someone with a Venti avatar joins someone who was sad over a breakup and just asks if they could farm? Wanted to share it with a friend of mine but couldn’t find it
What do you use for reddit? I've seen so many people with botched links because your app or something adds \\ before \_ inside links.
I've heard this before, someone claimed that "new reddit was broken again".
Take that as you will. PC Website
Ah ok, another reason to stay at old.reddit
Any recommendations for the abyss floor 11-3? I cleared 11-2 (3 stars) with Xiao/Sucrose/Chongyun/Zhongli and Ganyu/Diona/Venti/Mona. Clearing 11-3 with this team was not possible.
11-2 needs cryo for both to cut down electro hammer dudes' shields, but 11-3 first room doesn't need cryo since there are two cryo witches...
I have all 4 star characters. I have Albedo, Ganyu, Xiao, Mona, Venti, Zhongli, and Eula.
11-3-1 - Use Xiao Vent Mona/Sucrose/Xianling Flex(heal)(Bennet)
11-3-2 - Use Ganyu/Diona/Zhongli/Chongyun
This should get you 3 stars easily.
To clear 11-3-1 fast, the moment you start - Use Venti Q and E - This will prevent Venti going on Hyper cooldown because slowing water will NOT have hit you by then - hence you can do two cycles of Venti combo for control and damage.
Replace chong with albedo and that should be enough. For the first side at least.
Why is Anemo a recommended element for Peak of Vindagnyr? Swirl doesn’t do anything to those Cryo enemies... am I missing something?
> Peak of Vindagnyr
Anemo characters usually excell at CC that might help you when there are lots of small enemies
Most of those recommendations are dumb. Like why would you bring a Geo character to the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern domain when the enemies are bulky abyss mages with bulky shields?
Because geo has a 75% bonus damage there, still pretty useless since the problem is the abyss mage shields and not their health.
Might be, and this is just me speculating - because Geo reacts with every element to lower the elemental gauge ( albeit by a really really stupidly little amount), they figured, hey ... might be a good idea for newbs. Like simple auto attacking with Ningguang or Noelle Q would actually work - painfully slower than other reactions, but faster than physical auto attacks I guess?
Also remember, when the game actually came out, people were really really pissed off since there were 3 different shields which meant having to use 3 different elements in the domain for each shield - not to mention, no one had a clue at start of the game which works best on what. But Geo would have worked on all 3 (slooooooowly) so they figured - let's make this simple!
I guess. It's dumb either way although it's not as obnoxious as the Crimson Witch domain.
> Crimson Witch domain.
recommends cryo, need water (and shield)?
No. The entire experience is obnoxious. Extremely bulky enemies that constantly spam you with fireballs in addition to the their normal attacks. That and the fact that that domain refuses to give me good pieces is the reason my Diluc is rocking a purple EM sands even though he's in desperate need of ATK. I'd rather do the NO domain with the recommended Geo characters than the CW one.
Because ninguang hits so many times she can solo that whole thing fairly quickly without taking any damage
I haven't built her yet so I'll test that out for myself after I finish building everyone in front of her in the queue.
Also I’m pretty sure solo domain elemental shields are easier to break.
>Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern
Because Geo dmg is increased by 75%? Moreover crystalize gives you shields that help you mitigate some dps from abyss mages? Or maybe coz geo can hit all three shields slowly but it works?
Or you can just use hard counters and blitz them in co-op...
1. Not all ppl like to play in coop.
2. When you hit AR45 you have no good arts = you have no hard hitters in a team and those mages hit like a truck.
3. Of course all recomendations are dumb when you coop whith high level players who just one shot everything
That’s the thing though, if you just hit ar45 you shouldn’t be soloing domains, even if you were, noblesse is arguably the easiest one to do solo since the mages have shit health and you can break their shields pretty easily.
I'm gonna be honest...I didn't read any of that. Do what works for you.
That domain has 75% boosted Geo dmg, and you can generate endless shields just by hitting the Abyss Mages with Geo attacks so it at least makes some kinda sense. Anemo to Vindagnyr is just a head-scratcher though...
Why would you need to shield there? I've been grinding that domain for days now in co-op and the only Geo character I've seen is the occasional Zhongli. The mage shields take way too long to take down without hard counter elements.
That's because of co-op, if u do it in single, u will be easily and gradually be able to take down their shields with geo
What do u mean?
His brain is busted nothing U can do
"U" doesn't mean anything by itself. It's normally just a letter from the Latin alphabet and a vowel. In mathematics it is used to denote a union. Sometimes it's used as an abbreviation for "you".
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Are YOU ok my friend?
Because those recommendations are dumb and have always been dumb
Quick question : How many pulls can a f2p get every month *(as a newplayer)* and how many are needed to guarantee a rate-up unit *(pity)* ? Thanks
Pure f2p every patch is around 7-9k primogems (I assume you're high enough AR to do all the events). Each patch is spaced approximately 6 weeks apart, so realistically you're looking at 4.5-6k primos each month.
Here's [a post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/kbqm5a/analysis_of_wishprimogem_income_per_update_cycle/) that provides a detailed breakdown. As a new player you won't be clearing spiral abyss completely so you'll be earning a bit less.
Each wish will be 160 primogems, so you're looking at 28-38 wishes earned per month if you play every day.
For characters, soft pity (extra hidden rate-up) is 75 wishes and onwards, hard pity (100% guaranteed) is 90 pulls. Weapon pity is 80 pulls.
There is a 50/50 system for the character feature banner and a 75/25 system for the weapon banner. This means that on your first 5\* pulled, you have a 50% chance of getting the featured 5\*, and if you "lose" the 50/50 you get a random standard 5\*. Once you lose 50/50 you will be guaranteed the featured character the next time you pull a 5\* on the banner (this carries over even if the banner characters are changed, as long as it's all the same banner type).
The 75/25 system for the weapon banner operates the same way, except you have a 75% chance of getting one of the featured weapons and a 25% chance of getting one random standard 5\*. Pure f2p usually don't touch the weapon banner because although you are guaranteed eventually to get one of the featured weapons, it might not be the one you want. If you don't get the featured weapon you want there will never be a guarantee that you get it
Nice thanks !, looks fine to me
Dude u wrote this much to explain, Respect!!!!
As a new player, 2 to 4 wishes a day.
On average, 76 pulls to 82 pulls
F2P pulls vary from month to month. You'll see posts calculating the pulls made available for version at the start of each update.
180 pulls guarantees the rate up character if you haven't lost the 50-50 in the past.
People say 50-55 every patch (so 6 weeks and not a month). Guarantee rate up is at 90 but there's soft pity starting from 75 to 89, people usually get their 5\* between 75 and 80.
I was planning on pulling for Klee, but after playing with Eula in the Eula trial, Idk what happened to me,.. I spent the fates I stored for Klee...I ended up pulling Eula today after 74 pulls. How many primogems will Klee banner 1.6 update will give before Kazuha comes in (EDIT: I use welkin & bp). Ugh Idk if I should be happy I pulled Eula or be sad that chances of pulling Klee will be slim..
UPDATE : I got Klee! This 1.6 is quite generous with primogems. I got 66 pulls with events + housing + Welkin + BP and used additional crystals from purchasing more Welkin.
You can forget about pulling Kazuha even. Klee is not even in the picture.
There was a post not too long ago breaking down the average amount of F2P primos per patch, and it was about 8-9k on average. If we assume that they slightly front load the event gems (the more lucrative events do tend to be near the beginning of the patch in my experience.) You'd probably be looking at around 5k~ give or take before Klee's banner ends.
So around 30, maybe 40 pulls as a strict F2P. Unless you get lucky it's unlikely that this will be enough to get Klee.
Okay. Thanks for the detailed information.
Eh I would stick with Eula and ignore Klee's banner, unless you are willing to spend money on this game. Besides, Eula's pretty worth it imo
You won't get Klee unless you get lucky and pull her pretty early at lower pity. That's assuming you actually win the upcoming 50-50.
If you're f2p you can forget about it
As a new player, are there any characters I should save my primos for or does it not really matter? Also, should I save until I have enough primos to guarantee pity before I wish? Any help would be appreciated.
just save for who you think you'll like or enjoy. Also, saving enough primos to guarantee pity is optional but highly recommended. However, if the character banner that you want is already up and you havent earned primos to guarantee yet, just keep on pulling
edit: as a new player, it's nice to pull 10 or 20 for new four star characters that will help you in your team comps, but for 5 stars, they are wants not needs
Thanks for the reply!
There aren't really 'must have' characters. As long as you like them and their play style, they would work (if you build them right in the future that is). There are also characters that would make some things a breeze such as venti with mobs and zhongli against enemies like azdaha or smthn but their banners are done already.
Get a feel for the game first. For all you know you'll hate the game after a couple of days. That being said I'd hold off on wishing for Klee because she's already been powercrept. If rumors are to be believed 1.7 is giving us back to back hard hitters. That being said you might want to wish on Kazuha's banner to get Bennett AKA the best support in the game.
